Tripura startup “aAHARAN- The Learning App” has achieved a significant milestone by becoming a part of Netflix’s short inspirational film project. This remarkable achievement not only highlights the success of aAHARAN but also showcases the growing momentum of the startup ecosystem in the northeast region of India.
aAHARAN, associated with AICSMUTBI and Startup Tripura under the Directorate of Information Technology, has been selected as one of the three social innovations for the third edition of Azadi ki Amrit Kahaniyan, a collaboration between Netflix India and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. This partnership aims to recognize and celebrate social innovations that have a transformative impact on society. The film featuring aAHARAN will be launched at the 54th International Film Festival of India in Goa on November 28, 2023.

Furthermore, aAHARAN has received grants from various programs and organizations, including Numaligarh Refinery Limited, Government of India CSR Funding, IIM-CIP’s NEEDP Grant program, Facebook’s XR ed-tech Start-up Program, and the Department of Telecom, Government of India. The startup successfully raised venture capital funding from NEVF (NVCL) and has been selected for prestigious programs such as the Stanford Seed Spark Program and Atal Innovation Missions (AIM).
